The Home Inspection Correspondence Course: Entire Set of course modules

In addition to its on-site training school, Training, Learning, Certification, Inc. proudly offers its Home Inspection Correspondence Course. This program’s curriculum is based on a three level strategy towards obtaining certification as a Home Inspector. Although the core program is computer based, Training Learning Certification, Inc. has developed an instruction plan for those without access to computers. It is highly recommended that all three levels be completed.

Level Two consists of the Photographs of House Problems with explanations of the Photos. Hundreds of examples of house problems on CD-ROMs from which any example or topic can be found in an instant by using the “Search Engine” program included on the CD-ROM. This computer package contains scripted pictures for each module. Each picture has descriptive text and “zoom-in” capabilities for a closer look at the detail in any picture. The slides depict common and not so common problems prevalent in homes. With a combined total of over 2400 slides, this level is unequivocally the best reference source available. Level Three contains our Quest Program. This computer software is based on a question/answer format. It allows the student to study each module, quiz him/her self, and when confident, take the test. Each question is equipped with explanations for right and wrong answers and follows up with analogous information. With nearly 3200 questions posed, it is by far the most comprehensive learning tool offered in the home inspection field. (Also offered in this same format is “Certification Quest”. Certification Quest is a program for those who are studying for the ASHI® exams).
