Thank you for your interest in Training Learning Certification, Inc’s Correspondence Course. Please take a few minutes to examine the following pages to get an overview of our exciting new Home Inspector training materials. Each portion is designed with its own unique educational benefits. The Correspondence Course is based on a three level strategy toward obtaining expertise as a Home Inspector. Level One consists of industry renowned books and videos. Level Two highlights photos of house problems on CD-ROMs Level Three presents our interactive Learning/Testing software. All three levels relate with the others to give the student a well rounded Home Inspection education. We recommend new students complete all levels.

Within each level are six modules which correspond to the components of a home inspection. These modules are: ¬ Structure &SHY Mechanical &REG Electrical and Plumbing &hibar Kitchen, Interiors, Basements/Crawl Spaces/Slabs ° Exterior and Roofing ± Business Administration, Liability, and Marketing.

You will learn the proper approach to inspecting homes. Most importantly, this course will teach you the scope and depth of what a home inspection entails.

Unlike other courses which require payment in full, we have designed our course with a “pay-as-you-go” approach. You can purchase an individual level, a module within a level, or even a unit within a module. This approach allows you to control the scope of your studies as well as the rate of completion. Should you decide that inspecting homes is not for you, you are under no obligation to purchase any more materials.

Are you planning on becoming a member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI)? We have also perfected a program for those studying for the "National Home Inspector Exam" (NHIE). Our Certification Quest is based on the ASHI study materials. This application empowers you, through the use quiz exercises, to become confident in test taking skills. Like Level Three of the Correspondence Course, Certification Quest allows you to keep track of topics you have mastered and those you may need additional help. This, in turn, assists the student in developing individualized study sessions. All exercises use information covered directly in the ASHI study guides.
